I wanted to show you this dress on July 4th, but I just couldn't wait. This is handmade from the 1960's. It's made of white cotton and has an elastic waist band for fit. There is also a folded collar and short open sleeves. The red, white, and blue rick rack provides an adorable focal point for the neckline and cute borders on the skirt layers. This beauty reminded me of a dress that someone would wear to a 4th of July celebration in the park. Even though it was made many years ago, it's still current and modern enough to wear now. I would dub it: casual preppy Americana. Sounds good, right!?! Almost forgot! It has two small belt loops and looks great with a belt. The belt could potentially help you to not look like a flag, but it works either way. Check it out in the Etsy shop today!
