This is a blush cocktail dress from the 1950's. It has a traditional style strapless, boned top with a tan lace overlay. The lace is a gorgeous floral pattern with scallops that perfectly sit just slightly above the dress. The extra border it gives is really pretty and lady-like. The skirt portion is gathered at the waist to create pleats and volume throughout the length of the skirt. For photos, I have it styled with a crinoline (puffy tulle skirt that goes under an outfit) but it also looks great without one. This dress is great because it can be worn with sweet accessories and a little cardigan for a daytime event or it can be equally dressed up with the right details for a fancy night time soiree.
