Today's post is a fun 1960's pink dress that I found recently. It's a short cocktail length dress with long sleeves and a raised collar. The skirt part is really great! It's fully pleated with tiny pleats that continue down to create a very flouncy and full lower section. The lightweight chiffon material keeps it soft, the button details on the sleeves gives it a touch of the mod look, and the vibrant neon coral-pink material make a bold statement. Check it out in the shop soon!
This preppy coral dress is such a cute piece. It's a handmade party dress from the 1950's. The color is a really nice tomato-coral that's bright and cheery. The dress is a simple enough to be appropriate for anything from work to an evening event. Adding small accessories would be all that it needs! The classic shape is great and the preppy bow, pleating in the skirt, and interesting lines in the top give it some unique design details that make it stand out. Check it out in the shop today!
This was one of those dresses that made me stop and wonder if what I was experiencing was real life. I thought that I was dreaming and then quickly realized that it would be too hard to dream up something this awesome looking. Needless to say, I'm obsessed with this gown! The beautiful skirt's bright coral chiffon is silky and ethereal. Metallic silver and gold threads cover the top in graphic embroidery. I love the juxtaposition of the bold and bright pattern next to the pretty and soft girly coral material. Be sure to check it out in the shop today!
