I think this purse is just adorable. It's a 1960's navy blue vinyl clutch with a gold clasp and fixtures. The handle is gold plated and then covered in with matching blue vinyl, so it's an unexpected and fun little detail. Its baby blue lining is in perfect condition and is a stunning complement to the darker outside portion of the bag. There is a wide zipper on the inside and plenty of space for the essentials. Do you have a favorite type of bag to wear? Normally, I'm guilty of lugging around a large tote. It's nice to give my shoulder a break every once in a while and pick a lightweight option instead. I'll be switching things up for the next few days to show you some accessories that I've been collecting for The Ivy Retreat! Ever since I can remember, clutches, scarves, and jewelry from the past have been on my radar. It's so much fun to dress up a modern outfit with a vintage accessory. Even if the piece is simple, I believe that incorporating a vintage find adds a great amount of class and unique detail to an ensemble that might otherwise be overlooked.
This bag is an amazing 1950's Sac-De-Corde large envelope clutch. Measuring 14 inches long by 8 inches wide, it's much bigger than the average evening clutch. This gorgeous designer find even comes with an adorable attached change purse and mirror. How cute, right!? It will be the perfect finishing touch to any outfit that needs a little something special.
