This 1960's peach dress is so sweet. It has a v-neck collar, short bouncy skirt, and a large bow that sits at the middle of the waist area. The color is a nice light pink/ salmon/ peach mix and the fabric has a bit of an iridescence to it. There are tiny glitter flakes in the material that create a sheen without making the outfit too shiny or sparkly. Sequins are one thing, but glitter that's overdone on an outfit can be a nightmare. For a girly, preppy look, this dress would look adorable with a white button down shirt put under it to create a jumper look. Check it out in the shop!
How precious is this little dress? Every time I pass it I want to say "awww, how cute", like it's a puppy or something, but I usually stop myself. It's a 1960's vinyl shift by the Lion-Etta company and the pastel light pink color is really pretty. It has navy blue stitching, a zipper down the back, and a folded collar. It's not too common to see women's dresses with neck ties, but it really works for this piece! Is mod-preppy-sailor a clothing trend? If not it probably should be the next big thing. Well if this doesn't brighten up your Sunday I don't know what will! It's a 1960's chiffon shift that is a perfect shade of buttery, sunshine yellow . It's a short, simple shape and has long, unlined sheer sleeves. The small mandarin collar and matching cuffs have a braided finish to them with an iridescent thread that is woven throughout. There is also slight gathering at the front of the collar to provide ease in the fit. This is a really fun piece! Check it out in the shop today!
