1950's Tulle wedding dress

VintageRachel ChurchComment

This gorgeous dress is from the 1950's.  It was originally bought as the main outfit for a ballet inspired photo shoot.  The shoot was full of graceful poses and romantic shots, all showing off beautiful rich colors and gorgeous styling.  To top it off, the model was a real-life ballerina....so,yes, that made it even better!  It was featured on Ruffled blog as Ballet Wedding Inspiration

It's so pretty!  The gathered tulle at the boned bodice paired with the full skirt make for such an elegant gown.  It would be an amazing spring or summer wedding dress.  The shorter skirt makes it perfect for a warm weather celebration.  All it needs is jewels and some heels!  Check it out in the shop today!

1940's Lace wedding dress

I found this 1940's handmade wedding dress tucked away in an antique store the other day.  It was tied up and shoved in a corner to look like an unassuming blanket or lace cloth.  You can imagine the surprise I felt when I opened it up and found that it was actually a darling vintage wedding dress.  Pretty exciting!  This ivory lace and tulle gown is fit for a petite, slender type.  It honestly looks like a ballerina's dream dress.  It has a pleated and boned lace top that extends past the waistline and two layers of tulle that sit on top of a satin skirt.  This gorgeous 70+ year dress is quite the looker!  Check it out in the shop today!
