I found this 1940's handmade wedding dress tucked away in an antique store the other day. It was tied up and shoved in a corner to look like an unassuming blanket or lace cloth. You can imagine the surprise I felt when I opened it up and found that it was actually a darling vintage wedding dress. Pretty exciting! This ivory lace and tulle gown is fit for a petite, slender type. It honestly looks like a ballerina's dream dress. It has a pleated and boned lace top that extends past the waistline and two layers of tulle that sit on top of a satin skirt. This gorgeous 70+ year dress is quite the looker! Hi again! So here is another pretty dress that's up on the Etsy site. It is from the 1950's and is made of a simple cotton material that has a linen like grainy texture to it . There is a zipper on the left side of the dress and large pleats in the front. A big pearIescent decorative button is attached to the scoop of the neckline. I think it could be used for so many events! A simple beach, nautical, or backyard wedding would be the perfect fit for this effortless yet preppy style of dress. It would also be great on your next vacation or worn at a honeymoon getaway paired with sandals, a big wicker tote bag, and some fun jewelry to add in color. Remember to check it check out in the store!
