When I think of a fairy tale wedding, this dress comes to mind. Imagine this 1950's handmade lace gown floating across a dance floor at an enchanted garden evening wedding. It's very "fairy princess" to me, but could easily fit into many wedding styles and themes. It has a lace top that has a side seam zipper and a full and puffy floor length skirt. The top layer of material has a linen-like quality to it and is a slightly gray/off-white color. It's gathered very heavily at the waist to produce some really great volume. The dress is lined in a silky lavender fabric that gives the perfect purple hue and tiniest amount of iridescence. So, it would be great for the nontraditional bride who doesn't want an ivory or white gown! Check it out in the shop today!
Hi again! So here is another pretty dress that's up on the Etsy site. It is from the 1950's and is made of a simple cotton material that has a linen like grainy texture to it . There is a zipper on the left side of the dress and large pleats in the front. A big pearIescent decorative button is attached to the scoop of the neckline. I think it could be used for so many events! A simple beach, nautical, or backyard wedding would be the perfect fit for this effortless yet preppy style of dress. It would also be great on your next vacation or worn at a honeymoon getaway paired with sandals, a big wicker tote bag, and some fun jewelry to add in color.
