Yellow gown- Citron gown- Evening dress- Formal dress- Chiffon gown

250.00

This is an amazing dress from the 1960's. It's a unique bright citron yellow color with a hint of lime green to it. The neckline is adorned with large pearl beads and rows of clear tiny dangled beading. The base dress is not fitted; it's more of a straight down loose fit. The sheer chiffon layer opens at the middle of the front of the gown and is flowy and ethereal. This dress has some imperfections, but is still quite amazing; please see details.

Details...

Fits like: Medium/Large - the original darts were taken out of this dress. So there are marks left where the waist darts used to be. This is shown on a dress form approximately sized US 10/12.
Bust: up to 39/40 inches comfortably
Waist: up to 38 inches comfortably- it's more of an open fit on the waist
Hips: up to 42 inches comfortably
Length: 57 inches
Material: N/A- most likely polyester and chiffon layers
Label: N/A
Condition: Good vintage condition. There is some slight brown spotting on the dress at the bust area ( on both the base and chiffon layer). It's a very light rust color and is hard to see. There are some spots where the chiffon has holes because of its delicate nature. Some of the beading at the collar is missing, but it's all equally missing so not spots look unusual. As mention above, there were originally darts in the dress that were taken out at some point. Because of this there are dart marks on the both side of the front and back base layer that get covered by the chiffon layer. Please see photos and ask any questions prior to purchasing.

* If you have any questions regarding the fit or condition of this item please contact The Ivy Retreat prior to purchasing. I will be more than happy to send extra pictures and give additional information if needed. The condition and style of all garments will be described in detail. Vintage items have been worn and loved, so tiny imperfections may be present and care is to be taken with their preservation.
