Ivory wedding dress- Simple wedding dress-1940s wedding dress-40s bridal

This is a gorgeous dress from the 1940's. It has a satin bodice with a v-neck collar and knotted satin buttons going down the front ( there is no opening in the front, just on the side). The skirt base is made from the same satin material but is covered in a layer of matching ivory netting. Its very unique material and isn't quite tulle; it's just much more soft, heavy, and is not stiff at all. There is a small side zipper on the side and rope style satin ties that hep with fit. This would be a sweet and feminine wedding dress!

Details..

Fits like: Small/ Medium- This dress would most likely fit up to a US size 6. You must get it on by putting it over your head. I tried it on and I'm 5'9, a 34C bust,(curvy yet fit) and usually wear a US 4/6 or Small/medium and it fit well with some extra room in the top satin section.
Bust: up to 38 inches comfortably
Waist: up to 29 inches comfortably
Hips: free
Length: 60 inches
Material: N/A- most likely satin and high quality netted fabric
Label: N/A
Condition: Great vintage condition. There are a few small imperfections in this dress. As seen in the last two photos, there are a few tiny spots of discoloration on a few spots on the netting as well as the satin. Overall, these don't interfere with the look of the dress and may come out with further cleaning. Please ask any questions prior to purchasing.

* If you have any questions regarding the fit or condition of this item please contact The Ivy Retreat prior to purchasing. I will be more than happy to send extra pictures and give additional information if needed. The condition and style of all garments will be described in detail.
